It’s not every day you see Angela Hill dressed up in a Street Fighter costume. Especially at a UFC weigh-in.

It seems the mixed martial arts world is slowly embracing the costume culture. At the UFC Houston weigh-ins, Hill squared off against a confused Jessica Andrade, dressed as Sagat from the popular video game. Unlike the UFC, Invicta FC is unrestrained by a clothing deal or wardrobe restrictions. Basically that means Halloween could be every day. If you’re new to Invicta, know they’ve had some of the most epic weigh-in costumes. It looks like Hill is looking to bring some of the fun over to the UFC.

MMA and a Rapper: Epic Weigh-in/Press Conference Costumes

Angela Hill wasn't the first, nor will she be the last. From Sailor Moon to Pokemon Go, we have gathered a list of only the most epic weigh-in and press conference costumes to ever grace the stage.

Ion "The Hulk" Cutelaba

At UFC Portland, Cutelaba showed some serious commitment to his alias. From that day on, I became a dedicated fan of Cutelaba. To be honest, this is one of the most epic weigh-ins I've witness: Cutelaba showing up as the Incredible Hulk, ripping off his shirt while weighing in and then getting his hand raised, the night after. I don't think anything will beat what this man has brought to the table. He even paints himself white for the fight, you know, so he doesn't stick out.

Roxanne Modafferi as Princess Kitana

At Invicta FC 14, we got to witness the MMA/Mortal Kombat clash. Roxanne Modafferi showed up as Princess fu*king Katana. Her team even joined the cause (look at Sub-Zero in the photo). Modafferi's camp is so committed and I always loved watching them all dress up for the weigh-ins. I think Roxanne will go down in history as one of the most interesting characters in mixed martial arts history. I don't think we'll see another badass, nerd, costume wearing, fighter like Roxanne.

Rachel Ostovich as Wonder Woman

It was Invicta FC 10, where we first saw Wonder Woman grace the stage at the weigh-ins. Ostrich loves to showcase her girly side outside of the octagon, but as we know, that's not the case inside the cage. When asked about the costume, Ostovich stated that people liked it (she caught the world's attention, she was all over social media) and she loves Wonder Woman, so why not? We agree. It's undeniable, Ostovich has one of the most badass costumes in the history of MMA.

Amanda "The Lioness" Nunes

It was the night before the new year when the lioness showed her true form. Nunes debuted her mask before fighting the biggest star to ever grace the bantamweight division. When I first saw this, I was like holy sh*t. That's fu*king scary. Nunes later destroyed Rousey in 48 seconds of the very first round. It's obvious that the whole night will go down in history, but I doubt this is the last we see of the mask. I hope this opens the doors for more fighters to wear costumes at the UFC weigh-ins.

Michael Page Captures a Wild Cyborg

Michael Page blew up on social media after destroying Evangelista Santos at Bellator 158. Besides the brutal TKO, Page captured Santos with a pokeball after breaking his skull for the win. He literally fu*king broke his skull. Now, you're probably saying, this isn't a weigh-in though. My answer is simple: I don't care. This moment was epic and came at a time where Pokemon Go was huge. I think Page seized the perfect moment. A moment that paid off with thousands of social media followers. I know I'll be tuned in to see if Page becomes the very best that no one ever was.

Cris Cyborg's War Paint

I think I loved Cyborg's war paint because it symbolized another milestone conquered by the Invicta FC featherweight champion: another brutal weight cut in the bags and another win in the UFC. She was ready to make her statement and ready to take on whatever the UFC challenged her with, for the sake of getting a division of her own. With her flag painted on, Cyborg was ready for war at UFC Brasilia. I hope this isn't the last we see of the paint. It's pretty badass.

Conor McGregor as El Chapo

Conor McGregor is my favorite human on Earth. I fu*king love this man. When he showed up dressed as El Chapo to the UFC 197 press conference, I thought, could this guy get any more badass? Although this isn't necessarily a costume, I think UFC has taken a liking to McGregor's fashion. Everyone dresses in suits; mixed martial arts is a true gentleman's sport now. From B.I.G. sweaters to fancy clothes, McGregor will forever go down in history as one of the best to ever do it. Anyone who disagrees can go fu*k themselves.
